R + R Summer Maternity Photos | Gatineau Maternity Photographers
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to photograph this great couple at the Wakefield covered bridge and outside the Fairbairn House. The weather and lighting were beautiful and they were dressed beautifully.
A huge thank you goes out to Krysten Allen who did the hair.
Last week I took photos of this little guy. He was a tough nut to crack, but in the end he was too tuckered out to fight me on the posing. Here’s a sneak peek from his session. More photos to come soon.
Here’s a sneak peek of a maternity photo session that I shot a couple of weeks ago in Wakefield, Quebec. I am excited to show the rest soon.

Winter Maternity Photos at the Museum of Civilization | Gatineau Photographers
Last week I took some maternity photos of this great couple at the Museum of Civilization in Hull. It was a beautiful winter day with sunshine and some fresh snow. We were able to get quite a few really nice photos before the temperature dropped and we began to freeze. Enjoy.
This past weekend I took some maternity photos of this cute looking couple at the Experimental Farm. I was all excited to do the shoot because I had checked the weather forecast and it said that it would be balmy at -6ºC. Woohoo! Unfortunately, I didn’t look at the wind chill factor, which made it feel more like -13ºC. Fortunately, this couple were real sports in braving the chilly winds to do their outdoor photo shoot. And I’m always game if my clients are too, in terms of doing a photo shoot.
I am so happy with how well this photo session turned out that I had so many fantastic shots to choose from to add to the blog post. Luckily we did the shoot that day, because the wee one decided to come four weeks early and was born the very next morning! Congratulations to the both of you with the arrival of your little boy.

Maternity Photography in an Ottawa Winter Wonderland
Last weekend I had the pleasure to take some winter maternity photos of this great couple. They were real sports about trudging in the snow and getting the shots done–even if it meant no coat or mitts most of the time or walking in deep snow to get to THE SPOT for the best photo backdrop.
It was an absolutely GORGEOUS winter day. It had snowed a lot the day before, so the trees were covered in a blanket of white fluffy snow, while the ground was buried in several feet of snow in some areas. The skies were completely clouded over, which made for some beautifully diffused light. I was SO excited to be shooting these portraits on such a perfect day. This kind of weather is a photographer’s dream–at least it’s my dream. I had envisioned this winter photo session almost exactly how it turned out to be: fresh snow on the ground and on the pine tree branches, no wind and not too cold. It was only -5°C (which is pretty darn mild for Canadians east of BC.)
I look forward to photographing your little one after he/she born. Can’t wait!
