Brad + Nicole’s Wedding

Brad + Nicole’s Wedding (Ottawa Wedding Photographers)

Saturday August 18, 2012 was a perfect day in every way.  It was sunny, but only around 25 degrees outside.  Not too shabby for the middle of August in Ottawa.  With the help of my assistant, Jackie, as well as my second shooter, Heather, I had the privilege of documenting the wedding day of a fantastic couple.  After I shot their engagement portraits last fall, I was kind of giddy because as you can clearly see they are a gorgeous looking couple, as well as photogenic.  However, what makes it even nicer is that they are both beautiful on the inside too.  I gathered this by how they acted towards everyone on their wedding day as well as by listening to all of the wonderful things that their friends and family had to say about them during the speeches.

We had a lot of fun during the formal portrait time at Mooney’s bay park as well as #33 fire station.  I mean, does it get any better than having photos taken with a fire truck?  We also had fun during the reception.  One of the highlights of the evening was a custom-made photo booth made by Nicole’s brother.  How cool is that?!?!?  Not only did it have their names painted on it, but it also came with a nice back drop and lots of novelty accessories, including mustaches, bow ties and glasses.  I hope no one minded, but Jackie and I got in on the photo booth action too (see last photo).  😉

Congratulations Brad and Nicole.  May life bring you both much love and happiness together.  🙂
